Some great performances at this meeting in spite of the bad weather. Kevin's 52.93m Discus throw was rather special. Fred's great 800m victory and the relay 4 x 100m team were special highlights for me but there were many others. Attached to this E Mail you will find all the results and you will see that we finished in 3rd place and overall we are lying equal 3rd after two meetings.
The next meeting is on Saturday July 4th at Worcester so I will be getting in touch nearer the time. Make sure you keep it clear in your diary.John Tornado Topliss
P.S.1. To Ernie Eames, Simon Ralph wants you to use warm water for the steeplechase as he found it very cold on Sunday.2. Kevin set a new M40 Shot Put record at this meeting. I don't think that there were any other men's clubs records set but a few performances were very close.4.
